Simon Group is a Holding Company of several registered companies in Tanzania with investments in different sectors. Currently, it is looking for qualified candidates to fill in the positions of Insurance Officer, Internal Auditor and Group Accountant as detailed below:-

Job Title : Group Insurance Officer
Report to : Top Management of the Group

Job Purpose
To support the Group Management in performing all insurance related activities for all subsidiaries across the Group.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced Diploma/ Degree in related field is required
• At least 3 years of work experience in the same position or related position in a reputable company is mandatory
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency in both Swahili and English is required

Job Title : Group Internal Auditor
Report to : Top Management of the Group

Job Purpose
To plan for internal control design and effectiveness along with ensuring compliance with applicable higher education rules and regulations, standard accounting practices and corporate accounting policies, act as project audit leader in a hands-on audit role; assist in providing recommendations that add value and/or create greater efficiencies with respect to operations and financial reporting, and ensure appropriate utilization of audit resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA and Bachelor Degree in accounting/ Finance/ Business Administration is required; Master's Degree in Accounting/ Finance / Business Administration is preferred
• At least 5 years of work experience in the same position or related position in a reputable company is mandatory
• Ability to work under pressure
• Open minded Person
• Proficiency in both Swahili and English is required
• Foreigners are encouraged to apply

Job Title : Group Accountant
Report to : Top Management of the Group

Job Purpose
To provide financial information to top management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing report

QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA and Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance/ Business Administration is required; Masters Degree in Accounting/ Finance/Business Administration is preferred
• At least 5 years of work experience in the same position or related position in a reputable company is mandatory
• Ability to work under pressure
• Open minded person
• Proficiency in both Swahili and English is required
