QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters Degree in Agriculture Economics, Agribusiness, Horticulture, Agriculture Education or relevant field
- At least 3 years in senior management with relevant experience specifically in the Agriculture trade field/ value chain development/ agriculture consultancy or private sector
- Experience with donor funded projects will be a great advatnage
- Sound understanding and awareness of issues relating to agriculture markets in East Africa and globally and has good understanding of the working environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and is creative, innovative, persistent and resourceful to develop and build the best possible agriculture product database, information system and online marketing/ monitoring toold
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of team building concepts; a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multicultural and multi-disciplinary environment
- Knowledge of French shall be an added advantage
- Preferable candidate from Rwanda or Tanzania
