PRESIDENT'S OFFICE-STATE HOUSE (MKURABITA) EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The Property and Business Formalization Program known in its Kiswahili acronym as MKURABITA (Mpango wa Kurasimisha Rasilimali na Biashara ya Wanyonge Tanzania) is an initiative of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania aimed at establishing a unified legal and institutional framework that recognizes secured and accessible property and entrepreneur rights as important stepping stone into a wide range of opportunities available in the formal market economy.

The Program is now in it's 3rd Phase entails consensus building, instutionalizing the legal and institutional reforms, implementation of Front Runners as well as Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building.

1. PRINCIPAL PROGRAM ACCOUNTANT  (1 POST)

QUALIFICATIONS

- Advanced Diploma in Accountancy/ Bachelor Degree in Accountancy

- A holder of CPA (T) and registered by NBAA at the category of Associate Certified Public Accountant

- Experience of 5 years post qualification, out of which 2 must be in the managerial position

- Familiar with accounting procedures of donor funded program

- Knowledge of the Government Procurement Regulation as per Public Procurement Act, 2004 is a must

- Must be able to communicate in Kiswahili and English

CASHIER (1 POST)

QUALIFICATIONS

- Advanced Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accountancy

- Familiarity with cash management procedures in public program/projects

- Experience of using Navision accounting package will be added advantage

-Must be able to communicate in Kiswahili and English

DUTY STATION

MKURABITA Head Office -Dar es Salaam

MODE OF EMPLOYMENT

Contract of 2 years but renewable based on performance
