ARIEL GLASER PEDIATRIC AIDS HEALTH CARE INITIATIVE (AGPAHI) JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Ariel Pediatric AID Healthcare Initiative (AGPAHI) an affiliate of Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, is national organization focusing on pediatric AIDS and healthcare. AGPAHI works in collaboration with Ministry of Health and Social Welfare and other stakeholders/ partners such as local government authorities to eliminate pediatric AIDS. AGPAHI supports the provision of high-quality HIV services and ensures that efforts to reach the shared goal of the elimination of pediatric AIDS are well integrated into existing regional and district health systems.

AGPAHI has been awarded grant from USAID Tanzania to support Innovations in Reproductive Health and Family Planning to improve access to and effective utilization of services for integrated family planning (FP) services. The 2 years project will work in collaboration with National, Regional and District level partners to reach the goals.

AGPAHI implements innovative strategies to respond to the national HIV epidemic by doing more, doing it better and reaching further with fewer resources.

POSITION : PHARMACEUTICAL MANAGEMENT AND SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER
DEPARTMENT : SUPPLY CHAIN
REPORTS TO : REGIONAL PROGRAM MANAGER
WORK STATION : SHINYANGA

QUALIFICATIONS :-
 - Bachelor of Pharmacy with at least 5 years of experience in relevant fields
- Formal training in Pharmaceutical Supply Chain management will be an added advantage
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, Power Point presentations and pharmacy information systems required
- Should be registered by Pharmacy Council as per the Pharmacy Act No. 1 of 2011
- NGO experience especially USG funded one will be an added advantage

POSITION : SENIOR COMPLIANCE OFFICER
REPORTS TO : AWARDS & COMPLIANCE MANAGER
WORK STATION : DAR ES SALAAM

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accounting or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from recognized college
- CPA, ACCA or other equivalent will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years experience in one or more of the following areas; grants management, contract management, finance management, accounting
- Previous auditing and training experience are highly desirable
- Experience with managing USG funding is required; experience with managing other major international donor funds and working with an NGO preferred
- Ability to be self-directed and self-motivated and a team player
- Excellent organizational skills and detail -oriented with good writing skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to think logically and apply laws/ regulations and AGPAHI policies and procedures in a variety of situations
- Ability to edit and write clearly and concisely in a business environment

POSITION : FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION  OFFICER
DIRECTLY REPORTS TO : REGIONAL PROGRAM MANAGER
TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR : FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
WORK STATION : SHINYANGA

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accounting or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy form recognized college
- Post graduate qualification such as a Master's Degree in the relevant field
- Experience on Management and Administration works will be an added advantage
- Knowledge and awareness of USG Rules and Regulations practice for not less than two (2) years
- NGO's experience in key aspects of Financial and Project Management
- Strong personal initiatives and self-motivation with proven ability to work well under pressure and be flexible in demanding situations
- Ability to prepare quality timely financial reports as per organization policy and donor requirement

POSITION : ACCOUNTANT (FINANCE OFFICER)
REPORTS TO : SENIOR FINANCE OFFICER
WORK STATION : DAR ES SALAAM

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accounting or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from recognized College
- Knowledge and awareness of USG Rules and Regulations practice
- NGO's experience in key aspects on Accounting function
- Ability to work under a minimum supervision

POSITION : ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
REPORTS TO : HR & ADMIN OFFICER

WORK STATION : DAR ES SALAAM


QUALIFICATIONS:
College Degree is required and University Degree is preferred
- Demonstrated 3-5 years experience on office Administration, procurement & logistics activities
- Prior experience dealing with various government offices for VAT exemptions
- Preference for candidates who have experience working with USG funded NGOs
- Administration skills
- Procurement and logistics skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- High quality written & oral communication ability
- Supervisory skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Fluent reading, writing and speaking in both Swahili and English
