QUALIFICATIONS
- First University Degree in Social Sciences, health or related field
- Specialization in one of the above fields
- At least 3 to 6 years in civil society/ community mobilization collaboration and partnerships development in Tanzania including abroad experience in working with and mobilizing a range of external partners
- Experience in the UN system, country/ regional or international experience in the field of HIV; experience of living with HIV
- Excellent knowledge of English & Swahili; knowledge of another UN language desirable
- Strong interpersonal, representational and advocacy skills
- Ability to facilitate the and strengthen the involvement of a range of external partners
- Understanding of AIDS epidemic essentia
- Ability to ensure that the principles around human rights, gender and the meaningful involvement of people living with HIV are adhered

QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree in Economics and/or planning, social science, public health, or business/ public administration or a relevant combination of academic preparation and experience
- Advanced university Degree in one of the above fields
- A minimum of 4-5 years experience in development, planning, programming and monitoring and implementation of technical cooperation programmes
- Experience with international donors, non-governmental development organizations and/ or UN system
- Excellent knowledge of English & Swahili; knowledge of another UN language desirable
- Demonstrate knowledge of development, political and financial issues linked to HIV
- Knowledge of the UN system organizations and their delivery mechanisms
- Sound understating of the HIV epidemic and impact
