By putting evidence- based health innovations into everyday practice, Jhpiego works to break down barriers to high-quality health care for the world's most vulnerable populations. Jhpiego implementing a number of projects in Tanzania and wishes to fill the following position:-

TRANSPORT MANAGER - 1 POST BASED IN DSM

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Bachelor Degree
- Fleet Management/ Logistics qualificatio
- Qualification in automobile Engineering will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 (two) years experience in managing staff and a fleet of more than 25 vehicles

KNOWLEDGE
- Experience working in a busy office within the private sector or with International Organization
- Computer skills including demonstrated hands on-experience with Ms Word, Ms Power Point, Ms Access and Ms Excel
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Swahili

ABILITIES/ SKILLS
- A broad variety of administrative, office management and computer skills
- Experience in managing teams and supervising multi cultural staff
- Be self motivated, proactive and have a positive attitude to work requiring minimum supervision
- Excellent organizational skills including the ability to handle a variety of assignments sometimes under pressure of deadlines
- Be cooperative, hardworking, flexible and dependable
- Ability to communicate effectively, instilling trust and confidence
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Be of high integrity and have a sense of confidentiality
- Be willing to take on extra responsibility in order to achieve the goals/ objectives set by the organization
