The Aga Khan Health Service, Tanzania is an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network committed to providing quality health care to its customers and promoting health sciences education. With this mandate, The Age Khan Hospital has embarked on a major expansion that will see the development of tertiary-level services, which will include a comprehensive cardiology programme, oncology services, neurosciences, orthopedics and trauma, diagnostic imaging, critical care and obstetrics. Now embarking on our oncology Programme, we are seeking enthusiastic and qualified candidates for the following positions. Selected candidates will also be sent for training's.

MEDICAL ONCOLOGIST

QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters in Medicine qualification such as M.D, M.S, M.Med, or equivalent in relevant field of specialization/ super -specialization with active clinical role and ongoing academic engagement within the hospital set-up.
- At least 5-6 years of clinical and academic experience post successful completion of the Masters/ residency program (including medical/ board clearance through relevant exam)
- Teaching experience in a recognized Medical College or Teaching hospital required
- Appointment to the clinical faculty of Aga Khan University Medical College, East Africa would be expected

POST GRADUATE RESIDENT FOR FELLOWSHIP TRAINING IN ONCOLOGY

QUALIFICATIONS
- MBChB/ MBBS with Masters Degree in the relevant field or equivalent
- The selected candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively under the supervision of Consultant/ Sr. Consultants in his/her specialized area

REGISTERED NURSES -ONCOLOGY

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Integrated Nursing Course, Public Health Nursing or Advanced Diploma in Midwifery
- Certified and trained in Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Support

CANCER REGISTRY

QUALIFICATIONS
- At least Form IV certificate  with Diploma in Medical/ Health Record Technician
- HMIS personnel, with at least 2-3 years of medical records experience preferred

MEDICAL OFFICER

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) qualification such as MD or equivalent
- At least 2 years of post internship experience in a reputed health care setup.
