outreach and service quality of its Energy products for Tanzanian people. Next to its
current passion as a leading provider of electricity is to be more efficient customer
focused utility for Tanzania and beyond. The Company has the largest electricity
generation, transmission and distribution network in Tanzania. In order to reach its
goals, the Company will, in the coming years invest heavily in its generation,

Kinondoni North Region
1. Electrical Technicians (1 Post) –Tegeta Ref.No.01
The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, operating, servicing,
repair and maintenance of electrical control systems and equipments in the region
distribution system.
Minimum Requirements;
• Form IV/VI
• Holder of FTC or Ordinary Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Fresh graduate up to 1 year experience.
• Good computer skills

2. Artisan (2 Posts) Ref.No.02
Successful candidates will be responsible for proper, safe, efficient construction,
maintenance of distribution lines in the region to reach its peak to meet
organizational objectives and goals.
Minimum Requirements;
• Form IV/VI
• Electrical Installation course from VETA
• Holder of Trade Test Grade III &above from a recognized
institution/VETA
• Fresh candidates up to 1 year experience in a reputable company.

3. Radio Telephone Operator -Ref.No.03A successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and recording all
customer calls, attend all faults reported by customers, dispatch fault reports to
the foreman, cancel attended temporary break downs and communicate with
other TANESCO regions/grid Control centre on power breakdowns or Grid
failure.
Minimum Requirements;
• Form IV/VI
• Holder of Trade test grade 111 & above from a recognized institution/VETA
• Computer literacy.
• Fresh candidates up to one year experience

REMUNERATION
An attractive compensation package base on performance and consummate with the
responsibility will apply to the successful candidates. All positions terms of employment
are performance based three years contract.
