Plan is an International child -centred Development Organization whose mission is to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life od deprived children through a process that unites people across cultures to add meaning to their lives.

Plan has been working in Tanzania since 1991; it operates in 6 areas, Mwanza, Geita, Ifakara, Kibaha, Kisarawe and Dar es Salaam. Plan Tanzania works with 32,900 sponsored children, their families and their communities implementing programmes at grassroots level in health, education, water and sanitation, income generation and building relationship across cultures.

Plan Tanzania is the Executing Agency for the implementation of Sanitation and Hygiene Program (Usafi wa Mazingira Tanzania -UMAT). The Program is funded by the Global Sanitation Fund in collaboration with the Government of Tanzania. It is five years program which will focus on improving sanitation and hygiene in three districts of Dodoma (Kongwa, Chamwino and Bahi).

Plan Tanzania now invites applications from suitable, qualified and experienced persons to fill the following available vacancies;

1. DISTRICT SANITATION AND HYGIENE COORDINATORS (2 POSTS) (BASED IN DODOMA WITH FREQUENT TRAVEL TO THE DISTRICTS)

QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree in water/ environmental sanitation/ community development/ social science/ development studies, Master level added advantage
- Key exposure to courses on; Partnership Management, Human Rights Conventions, eg CRC, Monitoring and Evaluation, and various Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Interventions approaches in developing countries
- Skills and experience on Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) and Sanitation Marketing is desirable
- Demonstrable experience in community and/ or international development  including management experience, including strong experience in multi-year, large project management, specifically involving sanitation and hygiene

2. DRIVERS (2 POSTS) -DSM AND DODOMA

QUALIFICATIONS
- Class "C" drivers licence plus valid defensive driving certificate
- "O" Levels including competence in English language
- Certificate in logistics, administration/ procurement and added advantage
- A minimum of 5 years of experience, in vehicle maintenance and driving
- Good communication, interpersonal and computer skills

3. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS (1 POSTS) - DODOMA

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Public Relations or Human Resources
- At least 2 yrs relevant working experience
- Proven record integrity, problem solving, multi tasking, independence and sound judgement
- Excellent oral, written communications skills and knowledge on Microsoft Office and database applications

REMUNERATION
The above positions carry attractive remuneration as per Plan Tanzania salary structure and incentive package.
