1. DIRECTOR OF MEDICAL SERVICES
REPORTS TO : EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Holder of Masters Degree in Medicine or equivalent in one of the clinical related fields
  • Must have at least 10 years of working experience in managing medical services in a recognized Hospital
  • Super specialization and postgraduate training in management shall be added advantages
  • Good working knowledge of computer applications is mandatory
  • Strong analytical, communication, strategic planning and interpersonal skills with demonstrated record of achievement, initiative and highest ethical standards
Salary : As per MNH Scheme

2. DIRECTOR OF SURGICAL SERVICES
REPORTS TO : EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

QUALIFICATIONS:-
  • Holder of Masters Degree in Medicine or equivalent in one of the surgical related fields
  • Must have at least 10 years of working experience in managing surgical services in a recognized Hospital
  • Super specialization and postgraduate training in management shall be added advantages
  • Good working knowledge of computer applications is mandatory
  • Strong analytical, communication, strategic planning and interpersonal skills with demonstrated record of achievement, initiative and highest ethical standards

3. PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER II) - (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

QUALIFICATIONS:-
  • Holder of a University Degree with bias in Public Administration, Human Resource Management , Planning, Hospital Administration from a recognized institution
  • At least three to five years progressive work experience as Personal Assistant/ Administrative Officer/ Health Secretary
  • Friendly disposition and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing, analytical and attention to details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Publisher, knowledge of at least one statistical program (Epi info or SPSS) will be an added advantage
  • Strong initiative, independence, creativity and sound judgment
  • Service oriented and flexible with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A team player with a high level of commitment and able to manage multiple high priority tasks at one.
4. SENIOR ACCOUNTANT II (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD, FINANCE DEPARTMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with Certified Public Accountant Professional Certificate (CPA) and registered with NBAA.
  • Masters Degree in Finance/ MBA or Post graduate Diploma in Finance will be an added advantage
  • Must have at least five to six years of working experience in the relevant field
  • Must have managerial working experience of at least three years
  • Good working knowledge of computerized financial systems desired
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Swahili
5. CLAIMS OFFICER (2 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD, FINANCE DEPARTMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Advanced Diploma in clinical medicines or University Degree in Nursing or Public Health Economics or relevant qualifications
  • The applicant must be computer literate
  • The applicant must have effective communication skills
  • Working experience in Health Insurance Scheme is an added advantage
6. SENIOR MEDICAL SPECIALIST (1 POST- EMERGENCY MEDICINE DEPARTMENT)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Holder of three or more years Postgraduate Degree (M.Med) in either Surgery or Anesthesia (Candidates holding M.Med Degree in other field registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika may apply if they have at least three (3) years of critical care, casualty, or emergency unit clinical experience)
  • Must have worked as a specialist Medical Doctor or not less than 4 years
  • Must have published not less than two research papers in area of specialization, one as the principal author.
7. MEDICAL SPECIALIST II (4 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF FIRM

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Holder of Doctor of Medicine Degree with three or more years Masters Degree in one of the the medical fields who is registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
8. NURSING OFFICER II (3 POST)
REPORTS TO : WARD/ UNIT IN-CHARGE

QUALIFICATIONS:-
  • Holder of B. Sc Degree in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognized institution plus successful completion of internship and is registered with Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council
  • Must have a valid licence to practice
  • Must be computer literate
9. ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER II (10 POST)
REPORTS TO : UNIT/ WARD IN-CHARGE

QUALIFICATIONS:-
  • Holder of Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognized institution and is registered by a Tanzania nurses and midwives Council
  • Must have "O" level "A" level certificate of secondary education
  • Must have a valid license to practice
  • Must be computer literate
10. NURSE II (5 POST)
REPORTS TO : UNIT/ WARD IN-CHARGE

QUALIFICATIONS:-
  • Holder of two years/ 3 years certificate in Nursing/ Midewifery or its equivalent from any recognized institution, and enrolled with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council
  • Holder of secondary education
  • Must have a valid license to practice
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage
11. INFORMATION SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF IT & TELEPHONE DEPARTMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Holder of two years Diploma / FTC in Computer Science or relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
12. TELEPHONE OPERATOR II (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF TELEPHONE UNIT

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Holder of National Form IV/VI certificate with telephone Operator Certificate or equivalent qualification
13. PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNICIAN II (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF PHARMACY DEPARTMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Holder of three years Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and licensed by the Pharmacy Council
14. ARTISAN II (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Possession of a Secondary Education and holder of Trade Test Grade III from recognized institution
15. DRIVER II (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF TRANSPORT UNIT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Possession of a secondary School Education and Class C valid driving license and a trade test III or advanced drivers certificate grade III from a recognized institution like VETA/ NIT, with not less than three years driving experience
16. CLINICAL OPTOMETRIST II (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF UNIT

QUALIFICATIONS:-
  • Holder of three years Diploma in Clinical Optometry or its equivalent from a recognized institution
17. TUTOR II (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF SCHOOL

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Holder of M.D / DDS/ B. Pharm/ B. Sc (N)/ B. Sc Medical Laboratory/ B. Sc Radiography/ B. Sc Environment Health) Degree plus two years training in education from a recognized institution.
18. SUPPLIES OFFICER II (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF UNIT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Holder of Degree in Procurement and Supply Management or Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply Management or Bachelor in Business Administration with Procurement and Logistics Management option or equivalent, from a recognized institution
19. ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT II (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF FINANCE DEPARTMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Holder of NBAA intermediate Stage Modules C & D, Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Professional Level II or equivalent from recognized Institution
20. HEALTH ATTENDANT II (7 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF UNIT/ WARD IN-CHARGE

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Holder of Form IV/VI certificate with passes in English and Kiswahili Subjects and One year certificate in health from a recognized institution
21. ENGINEER II (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Possession of a B. Sc Degree in Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized Institution and registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB)
22. HEALTH RECORDS ASSISTANT (1 POST)
REPORTS TO : HEAD OF MEDICAL RECORDS DEPARTMENT

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Holder of one year certificate in Health Records or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Salary : Salary for all positions shall be offered commensurate with the MNH Scheme of service.
