Job Title : Mining Manager (1POST)
Reporting Line : General Manager
Rotational Status : 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off
Location : Buzwagi Mine Site, Kahama District, Shinyanga Region

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Mining Engineering or similar technical Degree that is supported by practical work experience in mining and mine engineering

• Minimum of 15 years progressive experience in large open pit hard rock mining with at least 5 years recent experience in the gold mining industry, of which 5 years in a managerial role, is essential
• Mining operation management
• Strategic and short term mine planning
• Mining equipment selection and performance
• Contracts and Contractor management
• Strong conceptual thinking ability
• Resilience and Resourcefulness
• Performance Orientation
• Strong influencing Skills and high level of interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated skills with capital justification, budget development, expenditure and controls
• Experience with operations and project development in a developing country environment
• Awareness of culture, business environment and infrastructures issues
• Experience in systematic coaching and training of employees in developing country
  

Job Title : Instrument Technician -Process Plant (1POST)
Reporting Line : Instrument Foreman
Rotational Status : 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off
Location : Buzwagi Mine Site, Kahama District, Shinyanga Region

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have completed an internationally recognized Training in instrumentation & control/ Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in instrumentation discipline
• Minimum of 3 years and above posy training experience in instrumentation
• Also exposure to electrical System will be an added advantage
  

Job Title : Inthinc Technician -Process Plant (1POST)
Reporting Line : Document Control & RIMS Foreman
Rotational Status : 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off
Location : Buzwagi Mine Site, Kahama District, Shinyanga Region

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum preferred level of secondary education
• Computer literacy, Ms Excel, Ms Word, Ms Outlook
• Past experience in installing vehicle tracking modules into mobile fleet
• Able to work under minimum supervision
• Consistent demonstration of Barrick Core Values
• Strong conceptual thinking ability, Resilient and Resourceful
• Ability to clearly communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
