VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING AUTHORITY (VETA) CAREER OPPORTUNITY

The Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) is an autonomous Government Agency established by the Act of Parliament No. 1 of 1994. VETA is responsible for regulating, coordinating, financing and providing Vocational Education and Training in Tanzania. VETA is an equal opportunity organization.

The Authority is looking for qualified, competent, dynamic and committed Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies :-

DATABASE ADMINISTRATION (1 No)
REPORTS TO : DIRECTOR OF LABOUR MARKET, PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT, HQ

QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or relative postgraduate qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years database management or development experience
- Possess recognized database administration qualifications including Certifications in Oracle Certified Professional Database Administrator, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Microsoft Certified IT Professional and Knowledge in MySQL, PHP and SQL Server

HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGERS (3No.)
REPORTS TO : CENTRE PRINCIPAL, KIPAWA, MBEYA AND LINDI

QUALIFICATIONS
DIRECT ENTRY
- Holder of Degree in Human Resources Management or its equivalent from a recognized University
- Masters Degree is an added advantage
- At least six (6) years work experience in the same field plus one year probation period

ENTRY FROM WITHIN
- Holder of Degree in Human Resources Management or its equivalent from a recognized University
- Master Degree is an added advantage
- At least three years (3) work experience in the position of Principal Human Resources Officer Plus Solid work performance

HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER (1 No)
REPORTS TO : CENTRE PRINCIPAL -ARUSHA

QUALIFICATIONS
DIRECT ENTRY
- Holder of Degree in Human Resources Management or its equivalent from a recognized University
- At least three years (3) years work experience in the same field plus six months probation period

PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER (1 No)
REPORTS TO : THE PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER, HQ

QUALIFICATIONS
DIRECT ENTRY
- Holder of Degree in Mass Communication or Journalism or Marketing from a recognized Institution
- At least three years (3) in the same field and one year probation
