African Barrick Gold (ABG) is a leading gold mining company, listed in the London Stock Exchange. It is the largest gold mining company in Tanzania with a portfolio of four operating gold mines, Bulyanhulu, North Mara, Tulawaka and the Buzwagi and several exploration and development projects, located across Tanzania.

UNDERGROUND SAFETY OFFICER - (1 POST)
REPORTING LINE : SAFETY COORDINATOR
LOCATION : BULYANHULU GOLD MINE, KAHAMA DISTRICT, SHINYANGA REGION
WORK SCHEDULE : 6 WEEKS ON; 3 WEEKS OFF

QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualification in Health & Safety or currently studying towards a qualification
- Mining Industry experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Previous experience as Health and safety practitioner
- Exposure to fire and rescue training and emergency management
- Experience in training courses such as Risk Management and Incident Investigation
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point applications

RECEPTIONIST - (1 POST)
REPORTING LINE : CLINIC ADMINISTRATOR

LOCATION : BULYANHULU GOLD MINE, KAHAMA DISTRICT, SHINYANGA REGION
WORK SCHEDULE : 6 WEEKS ON; 3 WEEKS OFF

QUALIFICATIONS
- A certificate in medical records keeping from a reputable Medical Record Training Institution
- A minimum of three years hospital experience
- A wide range of experience as a receptionist and advanced filling system experience is a bonus
- Excellent english and swahili communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to relate to all levels of personnel
- Competent in use of Microsoft word, Excel and power point software
- Accurate in record keeping with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
