1. Production Shift Supervisor – (1 Post)

Reporting to: Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

Supervise shift operations; ensure plant operations are performed eciently to meet plant objectives and targets, monitor the operation of the plant and take corrective measures, prepare production reports, perform stocktaking of raw materials, ultimate responsible for safe working practices and environment compliance.

Qualications and Experience

Diploma or its related discipline in manufacturing process, must have understanding of cement process, must have supervision/ management skills, Two to three (2-3) years experience in manufacturing operations

2. Heavy Equipment Operator – (1 Post)

Reporting to: Production Shift Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipments e ciently, inspect and monitor equipment during operation, ultimate responsible for safe working practices and environment compliance.

Quali cations and Experience
Form Four with Trade Test Grade I in Mechanics or related eld, able to perform equipment checks, be able to operate mining equipments such as dumper, dozer , excavator, wheel loader and motor grader, able to work independently, honest and trustworthy, holder of driving license class C/E, understanding of equipment maintenance requirements, basic written and spoken English, Two to three (2-3 ) years experience of heavy equipments operation.

3. Mobile Plant Planner – (1 Post)

Reporting to: Heavy Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely compilation of records, use computer system e ciently to maintain and minimize paper work, ensure accuracy records, and ensure timely submission of reports

Quali cations and Experience
Form Four /Six Education, with Technical knowledge or FTC Holder or Trade tests one holder, Basic
written and spoken English, Computer Knowledge, able to deal with internal customer courteously,
attention to detail, One to two (1-2) years experience.

4. Electrical Technician – (1 Post)

Reporting to: Electrical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
Perform skilled electrical maintenance by providing technical service to optimize cost, equipment
availability and customer satisfaction, carry out inspections according to checklist, make spot repairs
where necessary and report all ndings at daily meeting, visual inspection of the plant equipment
(equipment in operation), identify all abnormalities such as unsafe conditions, produce inspection
reports on daily basis and submit to the supervisor.

Quali cations and Experience
Full Technician Certi cate in Electrical Engineering, Minimum Two (2) years in electrical maintenance
experience in cement or equivalent industry, good on fault nding, able to plan own activities, able
to think himself in problem solving, fairy independent, able to take and follow instructions, good
understanding of preventive maintenance requirement honest and trustworthy.

5. Environmental Engineer – (1 Post)

Reporting to: Safety Health and Environment Manager

Key Responsibilities
Administer Environmental standards and Environmental Management System including ISO 14001,
keep track of relevant permits and follow- up on updates, track compliance of legislation and
environmental standards, monitor and report on the consumption of resources, water and energy,
compile and report environmental statistics.

Quali cations and Experience
University degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science, Knowledge of
ISO 14001 and EMS implementation, Two to three (2-3) years experience in environmental
management in Manufacturing Companies.

6. Maintenance Planner (1 Post)

Reporting to: Preventive Maintenance Specialist

Key Responsibilities
Ensure that planned maintenance is kept e ective and up to date, prepare and issue work
orders as per type of maintenance requirements, implementation of perfect maintenance
planning, provide inputs and maintain planning standards.

Quali cations and Experience
Full Technician Certi cate in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Technical Institute,
ability to read and interpret Mechanical Technical Drawings, Computer literate, Two to three
(2-3) years experience in Cement or equivalent industry, having worked in a Preventive
Maintenance Department is an added advantage.

7. Instrument Technician – (2 Posts)

Reporting to: Plant Automation Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
Perform skilled Instrument works by providing Technical services to optimize; maintenance
costs, equipment availability, Best practices in the installation of new equipment, Customer
satisfaction and operational objectives.

Quali cations and Experience
Full Technician Certi cate in Automation / Electrician from a recognized Technical Institution,
Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawings, Computer literate especially Excel and
Microsoft projects program, Knowledge with PLC added advantage, Minimum Two to three
(2-3) years Maintenance experience.

8. Shift Fitter / Mechanic – (1 Post)

Reporting to: Mechanical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
Perform skilled professional welding to optimize Maintenance costs equipment availability
and prolonged service life ,smooth and safe working practice, customer satisfaction and
operational objectives , Plant equipment availability, Increased MTBF, Minimum Two to three
(2-3) years Maintenance experience.

Quali cations and Experience
Full Technician Certi cates in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Technical Institution,
Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawings and developments, good spoken and written
English, Minimum Two to three (2-3) years Maintenance experience.

Salary o ered for all positions is competitive and commensurate with quali cation and
experience.
